3.~DIY Summer~ Treat sunburn overnight / Trateaza-ti arsurile solare peste noapte

RO: Arsurile solare sunt rezultatul  expunerii prea indelungate la soare pe timpul verii si de aceea trebuie sa avem grija sa ne protejam de soare.

ENG: Sunburn is the result of over exposure to the sun so care must be taken to protect the skin during summer.

RO: Daca totusi arsurile apar,durerea si inflamatia pot fi usurate cu urmatoarele tratamente facute in casa ,care ajuta la tratarea arsurilor peste noapte:

ENG: However, if sunburn does occur, the pain and inflammation can be relieved by any of the following home remedies that will help treat sunburn overnight:

RO: Otetul de mere:  Dilueaza parti egale de otet de mere cu apa ipreuna cu cateva picaturi de ulei lavanda . Pune amestecul intr-o sticla cu pulverizator si pulverizeaza pe arsuri sau aplica -l cu un burete sau un disc de bumbac pentru a scapa de durere si inflamatie.

ENG: Apple cider vinegar: Dilute equal parts of apple cider vinegar with water along few drops of lavender oil. Put it in a spray bottle and use it as a mist on the sunburn area or dab it on several times with a sponge or cotton ball to get rid of the pain and inflammation.

RO: Foloseste ulei de cocos pentru a scoate usturimea din arsura si pentru a o  vindeca mai repede. Maseaza cateva picaturi de ulei de cocos in piele pentru a o hrani si hidrata.

ENG: Coconut oil: Use coconut oil to take the sting out of the burn, and heal it quickly. Massage few drops of coconut oil to nourish and moisturize the skin.

RO: Lapte: Inmoaie o carpa intr-un bol cu lapte intreg rece ca gheata (cel degresat nu e bun) si aplica-l pe arsuri pana cand carpa e la temperatura camerei. Laptele va crea un film de proteine care va usura discomfortul creat de arsura.

ENG: Milk: Soak a washcloth in a bowl of ice-cold whole milk (skim won’t cut it), and drape it over the burn until the cloth is room temperature. The milk will create a protein film that helps ease sunburn discomfort.

RO: Rosia: Zdrobeste o rosie si aplic-o pe zonele arse. Folosind rosie pe arsurile solare  ajuta la scutirea durerii.

ENG: Tomato: Crush a raw tomato and apply it to the burned areas. Using tomato on a sunburn can help give you relief from the burn.

RO: Castravete: Freaca usor zona afectata  cu castravete feliat. Acesta contine compusi care racesc arsurile si ajuta la reducerea uflaturilor.

ENG: Cucumber: Rub the area gently with sliced cucumber. This contains compounds that cool the burn and help reduce swelling.

RO: Fulgi de ovaz: Cel mai vechi remediu este folosirea fulgilor de ovaz pe arsurile solare. Gateste fulgii de ovaz si lasa-i la racit inainte sa-i aplici pe piele, lasa-i la actionat cateva minute si clateste cu apa rece ,pentru a scapa de inrosire si de inflamare.

ENG: Oatmeal: The oldest remedy is to use oatmeal on sunburn. Just cook some oatmeal and let it cool before you apply it on the skin, leave it on for few mins and rinse off with cool water to get rid of redness and inflammation.

RO: Aloe Vera:Aloe Vera este un tratament natural si efectiv ipotriva arsurilor solare. Aaplica un strat subtire de gel de aloe vera pe zona afectata pentru a calma pielea.

ENG: Aloe vera: Aloe vera is an effective natural treatment for sunburn. Apply a thin layer of aloe vera gel on the affected area to soothe and calm the skin.

RO: Cub de gheata: Freaca un cub de gheata pe zona afectata pentru a pentru a grăbi vindecarea, calma durerea.

ENG: Ice cube: Rub an ice cube over the affected area to hasten healing, soothe your pain.

RO: Ulei de Vitamina E: Vitamina E contine antioxidanti care ajuta la reducerea inflamatiei cauzate de arsuri. Aplica cateva picaturi de vitamina e pentru a reduce durerea si pentru a hidrata pielea in acelasi timp.

ENG: Vitamin E oil:  Vitamin E contains antioxidant that can help decrease inflammation caused by sunburn. Apply few drops of vitamin e oil to relieve pain, as the vitamin helps to moisturize the skin.

RO: Ceai verde: Prepara o oală de ceai verde si las-o la racit. Inmoaie o carpa curata in ceai si foloseste-o pe post de compresa pe zonele afectate . Ceaiul contine ingredienti care ajuta la protejarea pielii impotriva daunelor si reduce inflamatia.

ENG: Green tea: Brew up a pot of green tea and let it cool. Soak a clean cloth in the tea, and use it as a compress for sunburned areas. The tea contains ingredients that help protect the skin from damage and reduce inflammation.

RO: Cartoful:Spala 2 cartofi, taie-i in bucati mici, si baga-i la blender pana devin o pasta groasa sau suc si foloseste-i pe pielea arsa.

ENG: Potato: Wash 2 potatoes, cut them into small chunks, and place blend them to a thick paste or juice and use them on the burned skin.

RO: Menta: Amesteca 2 picaturi de ulei esential de menta cu o cana de apa calie . Baga amestecul intr-o sticla cu pulverizator si pulverizeaza-l pe piele.

ENG: Peppermint: Mix two drops of peppermint oil with a cup of lukewarm water. Pour it into a spray bottle and mist it on the skin.

ENG: Black Tea : To relieve a sunburn soak a couple of tea bags in water and let soak until the tea is dark black. Dip a rag into the tea and dab on your sunburn. Continue to reapply as the tea dries.  The tanning acid in black tea reportedly helps draw heat from sunburned skin.

RO: Iaurt rece: Un bol de iaurt rece aplicat pe fata, nu doar va trata arsurile solare ci iti va lasa si fata proaspata.

ENG: Cold yogurt: A bowl of chilled yogurt applied on the face will not only treat sunburn but also leave your skin dewy fresh.

RO: Hamamelis: Proprietatile antiimflamatorii ale hamamelisului va ajuta arsurile. Inmoaie un prosop in hamamelis si aplica pe arsuri.

ENG: Witch hazel: The anti inflammatory properties of witch hazel will help your skin from sunburn. Moisten a cloth with Witch Hazel and apply it to your sunburn to soothe the skin.

RO: Miere: Calmeaza si hidrateaza pielea aplicand un strat subtire de miere naturala pe arsuri , pentru a grabi vindecarea si a minimiza durerea.

ENG: Honey: Soothe and moisturize the skin by applying a thin layer of natural honey on the burn to speed up healing and minimize pain.

RO: Faina gram: Amesteca faina de naut ,cu un strop de turmenic si smantana sau apa pana se face o pasta groasa. Aplica pe arsura si las-o cateva minute inainte sa clatesti cu apa rece.

ENG: Gram flour:  Mix chickpea flour with a pinch of turmeric and milk cream or water into a thick paste. Apply it on the sunburn and leave it on for few mins before you rinse off with cool water.

RO: Apa de trandafiri: Apa de trandafiri joaca rolul de a reduce daunele soarelui. Inmoaie discuri de bumbac in apa de trandafiri si preseaza-le pe zonele afectate pentru a trata arsurile si bronzul in mod eficient.

ENG: Rose Water: rose water can play a role in reducing damage from sun exposure. Soak cotton balls in rosewater and hold them on the affected area to treat sunburn/suntan effectively.
