What Really Happens When You Sleep With Your Makeup On / Ce Se Intampla De Fapt Cand Dormi Cu Machiajul



Toate suntem vinovate de faptul ca am dormit o data sau de mai multe ori cu machiajul inca pe fata. Chiar daca motivul ar fi o saptamana grea de munca sau prea multe cocktail-uri, petrecand o noapte cu fondul nostru de ten sau rimelul preferat, pare  nedaunator si nu se intampla in fiecare zi, nu? Total gresit! Se pare ca acesta greseala de fata lenesa poate face daune serioase pielii tale, si da , chiar daca se intampla o data la nu stiu cat timp.
Cu cat dormi mai mult cu machiajul, cu atat mai multe sunt daunele provocate pielii tale. Pielea noastra, ca restul corpului, functioneaza pe ritmul circadian. Noaptea functia cea mai importanta a pielii este sa se regenereze. Purtand fond de ten si machiaj noaptea, impiedica procesul regenerarii, cauzand daune pielii.

Fond De Ten / Foundation

Fondul de ten este gros si in general se suprapune cu alte produse car au fost pe fata toata ziua. Particulele mari si pigmentii se descompun pe parcursul zilei și au fost expuse și metabolizate prin procese naturale, precum și expunerea la poluanti de mediu si bacterii, mucegaiuri, acarieni și din exterior. Produsele secundare metabolice, precum și descompunerea machiajului în sine, preven rolul important al microcirculatiei, care ajuta la reinnoirea pielii. Aceasta poate rezulta in descompunerea colagenului, rezultand ridurile, porii infundati, care pastreaza bacteriile si rezulta in acnee.

Primerul are potentialul de a face rau pielii, dar depinde in totalitate de cum il porti. Daca primerul a fost pe fata toata ziua, este foarte daunator deoarece toti poluantii sunt inca in pielea ta. Daca este intins pe pielea proaspat curatata si folosit pe post hidratant, atunci e ok.
(Primer does have the potential to harm your skin, but it depends entirely on how you wear it. If the primer has been on all day, it’s very damaging because all the pollutants are still on your skin. If it’s smoothed on freshly cleansed skin and used for moisture, then it’s okay.)

Ruj / Lipstick

Nici o surpriza aici, dormind in orice fel de ruj, va rezulta in uscarea si decojirea buzelor. Cu rujurile foarte pigmentate, freaca buzele cu un servetel demachiant pentru a-l inlatura complet inainte de a te baga la somn, apoi aplica un strat generos de balsam de buze pentru a le rehidrata.
(No surprise here. sleeping with any type of lipstick will result in dryness and chapping. With highly-pigmented lipsticks, scrub the lips with a cleansing wipe to fully remove before bed, then apply a generous coat of balm to build moisture back up.)

Rimel / Mascara

Daca esti genul de fata care isi lasa machiajul pe ochi peste noapte pentru a obtine acel look dezordonat prin mijloace oneste, ar trebui sa te asezi pentru asta. Particulele de rimel infunda foliculii si ii irita, cum ar face pe piele. Daca se irita, umflaturile pot causa blefarita si bacteria poate cauza conjunctivita cu cat sta mai mult. Daca asta nu e destul de terifiant, dormind cu rimelul pe gene ,le poate slabi si rupe.
(If you’re the kind of girl who leaves her eye makeup on to get the “slept-in” look through honest means, you may want to sit down for this one. Mascara particles clog the follicles and irritates them as it would on the skin. If irritation occurs, the swelling can cause blepharitis and the bacteria can cause conjunctivitis the longer it stays. If that isn’t terrifying enough, sleeping with your mascara on can also cause the eyelashes to become brittle and break easily.)

Doar pentru ca suntem constiente de cat de rau este sa dormim cu machiajul nu inseamna ca suntem scutite de noptile lenese cand tot ce vrem sa facem este sa ne asezam in pat, cu fond de ten si toate cele. Tine servetele demachiante langa pat. In acest mod, atunci cand te bagi in pat iti amintesti sa iti cureti machiajul si trebuie doar sa te intinzi la noptiera si sa ti-l stergi.
(Just because we’re more aware of exactly how bad sleeping in our makeup is doesn’t mean we’re spared from those lazy nights when all we want to do is crawl into bed, foundation and all. Keep makeup remover wipes at your bedside. This way, when you get into bed it reminds you to remove your makeup simply by reaching over to your night table and wiping it away. )
